Chrisie, you are so inspiring. Doing what you can by giving so much of yourself is a good recipe for strength. Thank you for validating that thinking. Peace and Power <---that'll be a mantra! Thank you!

Thank you to Melanie for nominating and thank you, of course and again, Aransas, for bringing these uplifters to the world!

Also, any chance you would share your list of questions for oncologist, etc.?

Let me get it together for you. Please have her reach out if she has any questions. If you go to @ventedinbrooklyn on Instagram and go to our Reels and Lives. I have interviewed many breast cancer survivors. One of the stories and journeys may resonate with her.

Then definitely have her reach out. I have a few friends who are going through treatment that I could connect her to.

Just message me on Vented and I will give you my cell.

Hi! Here are a few that I sent my friend.

Ask your doctor what will my Breasts look like?

How much will you cut out?

How big of a piece will be missing?

How will having radiation affect me if I want to have a nipple and skin save?

What kind of procedures can I have after if I do this and the cancer comes back?

Can I have implants?

Can I save my nipples then?

What will my skin be like?

How many weeks of radiation will I need?

Will I need to take tamoxifen?

How will that make me feel?

What will my recurrence rate be with all options?

With lumpectomy?

Will they look the same?

How often will I need mammogram? Consider if you want to do that. If you have a double mastectomy you will not have them anymore but will have mris every 5 years if you get implants. You have to be comfortable and listen to your gut. Everyone chooses a different path but let yourself be the one deciding.
