Great conversation. So many women have access to wealth primarily through their spouses. Also, fiduciary duty is important when choosing a financial advisor.

Absolutely right on both fronts. When a woman is going through this transition, her money plan needs to be different because both her body and work are changing.

So glad you brought up both of these points! I've made plenty of bad choices in my life, but one of the biggest was waiting a really long time to hire a great financial advisor. Oh, how I wish I'd known to do that when I still had a corporate gig.
