How do you know if it's right for you?
Decisions | Last Call for Cultivating Confidence Workshop | A poll!
Happy Humpday!
We’ve been talking through some big decisions around our house. There are no obvious “right” answers. We’ve made spreadsheets of pros and cons, and we’ve talked endlessly, but we keep getting stuck in the same murky swirl of unknown and indecision. When we really sat down and weighed our options against what matters most for each member of our family, our best answer was finally clear.
I share this process with Christina in the latest episode of The Uplifters Podcast, but wanted to also send it here, in case you’re head is spinning with “maybe this, maybe that” options today.
Question 1: What are my three most vital life domains? For me, they are Self, Family, and Work. (There are lots of other relationships and domains that I value, but if these three get broken, nothing in my life works well.)
Question 2: How will each of my options influence my vital life domains? I ask myself, “Would this help my mental and physical health?, My kids’ mental and physical health?, etc…” (When I find that a choice won’t actually help any of those, but is something I just want to do, I usually discover that it’s my ego that wants it, or that there’s an old people-pleasing impulse at play.)
Question 3: How might I meet this need with the most integrity? This one can be tricky to know the answer to, but the more we practice listening to our guts, the louder those signals become.
There’s always somebody out there telling us they know the right way. But, the only right way is the one that’s right for you.
If you’re ready to cultivate your confidence and say yes to what’s most right for you, join Coach Beth Raynor Webb and me tonight at 6 PM ET for our next Uplifter Workshop by becoming a sponsor of The Uplifters Podcast. ⬇️

This Friday, you’ll meet Coach Sam France, who often works with mothers to help them find joy and peace in their parenting. Sam shares how unraveling the generational curses of her own history, inspiration from her mommy mentors, and a host of other wise teachers helped her become the parent she always needed.
Now I need to make some decisions about our podcast, and I’m hoping you can help me by answering the quick poll below.
