I have to add another comment because I believe that on some level these messages are seeping into my subconscious... On Sunday I faced a fear of mine - driving. I drive a lot, at least locally, ever since leaving NYC for the 'burbs. That kind of driving I am fairly comfortable with, but Sunday required that I drive from Orange County to Westchester County in NY. An hour's drive - on scary highways. I actually did not NEED to do it, but I needed to do it in order to see my son play in his baseball game. And he wanted me to come. So I did it. I was scared, had a few scary things happen, scared my daughter who was with me - but I did it. The beautiful weather helped. I would not have tried it in rain or fog or ice, etc. I did it. I know I can do it again. I may not necessarily want to do it again, but I know that I can. I didn't realize until some time after that it may have helped to have listened to The Uplifters podcasts! So thank you wonderful Aransas and wonderful women for showing us that we can do things - big and small!

Oh my goodness! You brought tears to my eyes! I truly believe that we all get so much stronger and more courageous when we hear each other‘s stories of strength and courage. By sharing your experience here, you’re going to help some woman who sees this face her own fears. How incredible is that?!? Thank you for helping us all grow and be brave along with you! I’m so proud of you! (And, you are not alone on the fear of driving. So many of my clients share this fear.)
