Oooooh!! A cartwheel?!? I love this! I was just thinking about cartwheels and wondering if I could learn to do one. As always, you inspire me again and again to try new brave things!!
My kids flip out every time! They can't believe I can do a cartwheel. It makes me laugh; they are so surprised and impressed. LOL. Thank you for inspiring me to lead and stay brave.
I've been brushing my teeth in the lowest possible squat I can manage for about a year now & will be continuing that. I have also occasionally done a "1 min hang" but I keep removing my pull-up bar from my doorway - I'll be putting that back up. I'm also adding back in my wall-assisted handstand(s) after each workout. I find it fun & keep forgetting it.
Side note: I've "assigned" my mom a shortlist of moves & "required" that she text when completed. She even had her husband call to verify and sent a picture of her kitty coach making sure she's done it. It's just a few squats, push-ups from her knees, balancing on each leg and getting up & down from the floor 3-5 times. Takes minutes & makes us both smile when she texts.
You are such a badass human and daughter!! I love all of this so much!! I intended to hang more last year, but never quite got the hang of it (groan). It's wild how these little things add up though!!
In all the chaos around New Year’s resolutions etc i REALLY needed this today! Thank you!! I’m IN!! 75 days of doing some jumping up and down and then a few minutes with my legs up the wall before bed :)
It makes me so happy to know that we will be in this together! Let’s keep checking in and sharing what we are noticing from a few soft moments in these sandpapery times.
Oh my goodness, I love every word of this! I have finally started taking my vitamins, which means I have to drink a giant glass of water with breakfast each day. It feels like such a powerfully value-layered win! We are gonna be so hydrated this year! And we are gonna be so wise with all of our journaling! I can’t wait to see you and celebrate everything on March 13!

I bring a glass of water with me every evening before bed so that it’s the first thing I grab in the morning
