Today is a really special day. It’s Juneteenth and the 94th birthday of my BFF, my grandma. We headed to The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum to reflect on some of the milestone moments of Grandma’s lifetime.
This remarkable and powerful museum tells the stories of some of the most horrific moments in human history, while also shining a light on The Upstanders, the courageous individuals who stand up in the face of oppression. As we reflect today, I’m challenging myself, heck, all of us, Uplifters, to truly step into our potential as Upstanders.
