The stakes are so high
Happy Mindful Monday, Uplifters.
If you haven’t listened to Eyvette Jones Johnson’s interview yet, please do. My husband called it a “twicer” because it’s so packed with insight and wisdom that he had to listen to it twice. This quote from our conversation is the whole reason The Uplifters exists.
The work you’re doing matters. It’s the key to making the world a better place for all of us. And of course, purpose work, whether it’s leading a big company, a small community, or our families, takes a whole lot of energy.
When we are doing meaningful work it’s awfully easy to get so consumed by it that we forget that the whole engine powering this work is our wellbeing and that by not caring for ourselves we put everything else we value at risk. So, today, let’s fire back up that engine.
Here’s your weekly Mindful Monday Coaching Prompt:
What's one simple yet meaningful act of self-care you can prioritize for yourself today? How will it rejuvenate and nourish your mind, body, or soul?
There are almost 1000 of you reading this message today. Imagine what would happen if we all took just a bit more care of ourselves today! Consider becoming a paid subscriber to join the conversation in the comments and hear how other Uplifters are caring for themselves.
Please Vote for The Uplifters
The Uplifters Podcast has earned a spot as a finalist in the prestigious Signal Podcast Awards! Beyond the judges' recognition, we're also up for the Listener's Choice Award, celebrating the Most Inspiring Podcast. This little dream we’ve created together is up against the likes of big guns like LinkedIn, and as of this writing, we are in second place. So, if you could take a quick second to vote for us, it could make a huge difference.
Our Next Uplifters Workshop is Tomorrow!
Our next Uplifters Workshop for Paid Subscribers is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, October 3 at 5 PM ET, featuring Rola Ghasani, who will teach us her powerful F Method and how to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (aka EFT or Tapping) to calm and center ourselves in this crazy world. This is next-level self-care and I’m so excited for us to learn more about it together.
