I’m stuck in where to go and what to do next. I want to continue to share my story with the world to remind people that they are worthy and are enough. I want people to read my story and know that they too are worthy. I want to be a guest on the Tamron Hall Show for this purpose.
PS: I also believe in an inch by inch approach that starts in local communities. In your own backyard, there are many people who need to hear this story- looking for women's groups and other communities who need speakers and storytellers is an amazing place to begin. The biggest things I've heard women do on Uplfters all started with tiny steps close to home.
You are absolutely right in seeking local avenues. Recently I was invited to be a guest speaker at an event. In my mind I said this might be the beginning of me getting exposure. Just have to calm my nerves and keep the imposter syndrome at bay. Thanks again.
I love this specificity so much! I'll talk more about this in Friday's post, too. By saying that so clearly out loud you're helping the people (like me!) who align with that mission help support you. I don't know Tamron, but how cool it will be the day someone sees or hears you say that and guides you closer to that outcome- or something that accomplishes the same goal.
