Happy Monday!

Last week was filled with lots of big, joyful moments, but there were also painfully difficult events in my little world and in the great big world we all share.

As I watched friends navigate the loss of loved ones, fear, hatred, and other really awful stuff, I kept coming back to Mara’s message in last week’s podcast. While we can’t undo these things, we can learn from them, and we can use them as catalysts to live in more love.

It dawned on me once that while there can be too much money, too much privilege, too much creativity even, the only thing there can never be too much of is love.

So, I’m making that my center line this week. When I feel worried or overwhelmed, I’m going to turn back toward love and ask myself, “What’s the most loving thing I can do for myself and others in this moment?”

And in case that doesn’t quite do the trick, I’ll reread this story that boosted my faith in humanity today.
