Before I was a hiker, I wasn't a hiker.
Mindset boosts, an Uplifting book, a sexy senior, luxury summer camp, a call for mother wisdom, and more
Beth Raynor Webb, grew up surrounded by stories about what girls could and couldn’t do. So, like a good girl, she did what was expected of her, married early, and raised a family. When her kids were grown and out of the nest she decided to make her mental and physical health her focus. To do this she lost some weight, got active, examined her mindset, and began an epic quest to do the things she was told she couldn’t or shouldn’t as a little girl.
In our next episode of The Uplifters Podcast, coming your way this Friday, you’ll discover exactly how Beth faces her fears, but for now, I’ll leave you with this little message from Beth to every one of us who is the process of breaking out of old boxes:
Before I was a hiker, I wasn't a hiker. Before I was a kayaker, I wasn't a kayaker. Before I could cook, I wasn't a cook. Before I was a southwesterner, I was a northeasterner. Before I rode horses, I wasn't a horse rider. Before I was healthy, I was unhealthy. We are always changing and it all starts the same way: with a little belief and a little courage.
I can’t wait to join you as you take your morning walk, drive to work, do the dishes, or whatever you’re doing as you get powered up by some Beth wisdom on Friday!
