#110 Behind the Scenes at The Conclave in Rome with my Husband
And yes, there are big lessons for raising courage capital in here!

Today’s Featured Uplifter: Andy Savas
There's something terrifying and exhilarating about the unknown, isn't there? Most of us pack for weekend trips with military precision, yet last week my husband Andy had to stuff a suitcase for what could have been two days or two months in Rome, covering one of the most historic events in the Catholic Church. One minute he's producing morning television in New York, the next he's standing in St. Peter's Square with 45,000 people, waiting for white smoke to signal that the world has a new Pope.
This week, I'm breaking all my own rules and bringing you someone who's never been featured on this show before: my husband, Andy Savas. After Andy returned from covering the papal conclave that elected Pope Leo XIV, we got so many questions about what it was like to witness history unfold in real-time. While Andy's story doesn't follow our usual format of women raising courage capital, it does include some really great reminders about the courage required in our professional lives – the ability to show up unprepared, adapt constantly, and find meaning in moments of uncertainty.
